This used to be a Ryder rental truck. Converted into a music studio/off-grid camper. Yellow original paint. Sliding access door from front cab to box. This is so nice because you don’t have to get out of the vehicle to go back and forth.
Previous owner was a professional carpenter. He made the conversions. He stated that he built it exactly like a house with 2×4 studs on 16 inch centers. R9 insulation vapor barrier and 1/2 sheet-rock. The back roll up door was replaced with metal, high security 32″ wide door. Three vinyl windows installed. Windows have screens on them. Large window also has security bars on it. This is a very secure storage place. Four electrical outlets installed. Ceiling paneling installed. Box roof is one piece of fiberglass covering whole roof. No leaks.
Storage shelving custom built into the cab over part of the box. Bed frame with storage underneath. Wall a/c unit shelf for your window a/c unit. Plug in on back of vehicle for extension cord to run 110 power. White storage box for truck stuff. Coat rack. Bed platform that converts to bench seating.
I purchased this van last year to move my son and all of his stuff from Louisiana. Before the trip we replaced the electric fuel pump with a new one for $800. Motor runs well and doesn’t leak oil or burn oil. Transmission front seal started leaking. I had the seal replaced at a local transmission shop. When they had the transmission out, they checked it over and replaced the transmission oil and filter. The new transmission oil was synthetic oil. This transmission service cost $900. I just replaced the windshield with a new one for $230. Previous owner stated that he had just put in new brakes and rotors all around at a cost of $1,200. Cab air-conditioning runs cold.
This would make a great RV. All that is needed is whatever custom stuff that you want to put in it. Off grid or discreet urban camper, extra bedroom or studio beside your house. This could be your mobile office, Man Cave or She-shed. I have had this for a year and I don’t have a further use for this as I also have another motor home. Current tags and registration. Firm on the cash price and just looking for the right person who wants custom outfit it to suit his/her self.
Ramp could be used for motorcycle storage. Hitch to tow trailer. Ramp needs dolly parts to make it slide back into the under floor storage slot but it can fit inside the box.
The box inside floor space is 14 ft long plus there is another 3 feet in the cab over attic storage area. The width is 6 feet 11 inches. Floor to ceiling is 6 feet 8 inches. The overall vehicle length is 24 feet long.
